I am applying to UT Austin college of natural sciences, Texas A&M, and maybe Baylor, and a few other colleges around that caliber.

I just signed up for the Math level 2 and physics subject tests because I feel that I can do pretty well on them, but I don't think they're required. Will UT Austin maybe like it if I take them since theyre a little bit of a higher tier college? Or is this only going to help me with exemptions from classes at this level?

Unless a college explicitly asks you to not send them, they can usually benefit your profile slightly. However they are used for placement at UT, so you’ll have that going for you. Never be afraid to e-mail admissions. They usually respond within a few days.

Ok yeah I just checked UT’s sight and it looks like if I score 600+ they can get me out of some courses. By the way, is there a college of natural sciences just regular? Or is it college of natural sciences honors, like is it an honors path in itself? Sorry if that made no sense
