<p>DS just submitted his Common App applications and supplements to 10 schools (down to the wire, as usual!). He's arranged for test scores, teacher recs, etc. to be sent in, so we thought the process was complete until filing the FAFSA, but now I realize we need to turn in the CSS Profile, too. It sounds like some people have already turned that in, but how do you do that before doing your taxes (or at least being close enough to the end of the year to be able to estimate)? Is it too late now to file the Profile? If so, we're in deep trouble, since acceptances at any of the colleges DS applied to would be meaningless without major financial aid... Can anyone give me hopeful news that there is still time to file the Profile? Thanks...</p>
<p>I know for three of the schools I am applying to (Brown, Stanford, Rice) the CSS and FASFA aren't due until Feb 1st, Feb 15th, March 1st respectively.</p>
<p>So it would be good to check the individual schools for their deadlines, but I don't think any schools will have them due before Feb (IF you applied RD)</p>

<p>Actually some schools have finaid applications due in January for incoming freshmen. You need to check the finaid websites for the deadlines at EACH of the 10 schools to which your student applied. The deadlines vary wildly from school to school.</p>
