<p>Why should it be okay only for kids going to mediocre schools to wear school t-shirts? All students should be proud of their school be it 3rd tier or HYPSM.</p>

I guess it depends on the school you go to. You don't want to come across pompous, but you do want to participate in the college fever that occurs in most high schools when decisions come rolling in and be proud of your college. I'd say be proud of your college...it's nothing to be ashamed of, and if people think you are being stuck up, then they are most likely just jealous.</p>

<p>People wear HYPSM, Duke, Brown, etc shirts/sweatshirts/hats at my school ALL the time. And a lot of them haven't even applied to those schools yet.. gah.</p>

<p>If I was admitted, I would definetly wear it to school. Even though our dress code is our uniform, I would wear it. And if I get into trouble and get a detention...I wouldn't give a **** cos I would be admitted at Stanford.</p>

<p>And I will walk around, sticking out my boobs to make sure every single student in the school sees the STANFORD written on the sweatshirt. And make them cry with jealousy.</p>
