Anyone care to provide a summary of each, i looked at them and still i got confused of which i should rank. My major is biochem btw, does this fits in one of these colleges

if you're looking at biochemistry definitely choose ucsd

Yeah, UCSD looks good.

yea but there like six colleges in uc San diego, i need to rank when i applied in the application. so which one i rank from frist to last

Do a search for "colleges" in this forum. Always use search.

muir , warren, revelle rest w/e

ohhh ok. i would search this site and google. i've seen a couple recent threads about it

better question than which college -- which biochem?

ok i did some research and revelle and marshals seems to interest me the most but im not sure.

wille2511 - The key difference is in the GE requirements. Muir and Warren have the most flexible requirements and thus are usually preferred by those heading into engineering or heavy science majors due to their impending heavy workload. For the others, just look at the GEs and decide if they're aligned with your interests. If you're interested in those GEs then you won't mind going there.

Other than that, all majors can be taken at any of the 6 'colleges' and you'll be taking courses all over campus in the different colleges.

After the first two years when you'll likely move off campus, the particular 'college' will be irrelevant to you.
