different grading scales?

<p>I live in Northern Virginia and our grading scale is apparently different to most scales in the nation. A = 94 rather than 90. Do colleges take this into account?</p>

<p>yeah of course. thats why your HS should send in the school profile, and you also have the SATs. in my school, A=96+ A-=93+.</p>

<p>At my school a 90 equals an A but there is so much grade inflation an A means nothing.</p>
