I got notified today that I received a full tuition/room board/study abroad scholarship from Indiana University (Kelley School of Business). I'm really torn between Cornell and IU now, my family isn't rich, so I'll probably have to take out some loans if I go to Cornell - any input on this situation?

Cornell all the way.

I say Cornell...I think most people going there have to take out some type of loan, and Cornell is def worth it :)

Hehe, well this is a Cornell board after all...

LOL...true. I guess it depends on how much the loans will be for...and if it's worth it to you to go into debt!!!!!!!!!

Well, weigh the positives. Cornell is Cornell, there's your positives. Can't think of any negatives, you can do that.

If you're looking to go into hospitality, there's no question that Cornell is far superior. End of discussion.

I am a Cornell CAS '09er and I'm on financial aid.. or will be on financial aid. Cornell's financial aid compared to other ivies is a bit lackluster, but they're very eager to help those we need money. My family income level falls under the below 10,000 dollar bracket. Cornell provided me with 36 K Grants. They're very generous to the lower classes. Definately consider Cornell. Is it for CALS?
