Difficulties Changing E-mail Account Password

<p>I recently received my Bowdoin e-mail account and password. I was able to log in fine with the password I was given, but each time I try to change the password I am told that I am not meeting the password requirements. I cannot figure out what these requirements are. I tried making it longer, adding more numbers, putting numbers in the middle, etc., but none of my tries have “met the requirements”. It feels like a game. </p>

<p>So can anyone tell me what the password change requirements are?</p>

<p>I don’t have the specific requirements so this is just a guess, but try using a non number or letter character such as ! Or ( sometimes you have to have 3 of 4 things that make a password more secure. For gmail, I think it is a capital letter, a number, a lowercase letter, and a non letter or number character. <p>I think it is like you need a capital letter, a symbol, a number, and the password cannot be a recognizable word or your name.</p>
