Dilemma over sdsu & cpp

First off, I want to thank you for reading my post on helping me decided my future.
So I applied to CSULB, SDSU, and Cal Poly Pomona for Spring 2011 and was accepted to all my schools. My choices that I am mostly looking at are SDSU and Pomona, when I applied to Pomona for Spring 2011 I applied as Engineering Technology because my original major (Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering) was a closed major during the application period. I have heard/talked about how great CPP is a great school for engineering, so this is the school I would like to go to. The only reason that would be stopping me is the major that I got accepted as. If I were to go to Cal Poly Pomona it would be more of a risk because the process about switching majors is difficult (especially into an impacted major). I was told that I need to attend for a quarter until I can petition my change of major. If I were to attend CPP, I would take CE classes at Mt. San Antonio because I would not be able to take CE classes at CPP as a Engineering Technology major. Then I would petition to change my major after my first quarter. This would be my plan IF i were to attend CPP.

On the other hand, I have SDSU, which I got accepted for Environmental Engineering. I have lived in San Diego my WHOLE life. I am kind of tired of this place and would like to experience something new, but going to SDSU seems like a safe choice because I was accepted as the major I want and I wouldn't have to go through all this process about switching majors. Thats basically it about SDSU. which is a safe choice.

Would anybody please be kind enough to shoot me some advice on my situation?
CPP
-GREAT education
-GREAT engineering school
-Risk of NOT getting into Civil Engineering Environmental ENgineering
SDSU
-safe choice
-home

bump. any advice? please

man when i come back to this i realize what i said. haha. i felt like i had to vent. THANK YOU COLLEGECONFIDENTIAL for taking on my vent. i realize life is life and im going to do my best no matter what
