SDSU or Cal Poly Pomona?

I got accepted to both schools and I'm very familiar with CPP campus and environment. I'm from the inland empire.
I'm just asking for input about SDSU. I've never been there and I've barely been to SD at all really.
I'm leaning more toward SDSU, but I also have some fears like is it easy to make friends there? What are the living conditions like? From google I've seen that the living options for transfer students look pretty ghetto. Also, is the campus pretty? I've heard some people say it's gorgeous and others say it's not at all.
My major is Marketing btw.

If you know about both schools, which would you choose?

I faced this decision too. My top choice was CPP not thinking I was going to get in SD, but I did.
I ended up choosing SD because:

  1. It’s more diverse when it comes to majors (if i don’t like my chosen major, I have more options to choose from)
  2. Better college life (especially as a freshman). CPP is a commuter school meaning barely anyone is on campus. Versus SD where they’re many things to do and a lot more people lives on campus
  3. Sports, Spirit, … that sort. I’m a big sports person and overall it’s just more fun
  4. Resources. (My uncle told me this one) lol But there’s a lot of people with money there and meaning there’s more connections when it comes to jobs and stuff. Not sure how to put it, but long story short, people get successful from connections.
I written more reasons down on a different computer but I’ll update my list because I don’t remember everything on top of my head.

@hecayminsidme thanks for the info! I’m in the same situation lol, I’ve wanted to go to CPP for years and just applied to SD for the hell of it. I’ve been to CPP on the weekends and wow was it boring haha, I’m definitely leaning toward SDSU. Thank you

You’re welcome. I got accepted to CPP in January and it was my first choice and I still wasn’t sure if I wanted to go there because it seemed so boring lol. Glad I didn’t have to go there to figure that out
