So I auditioned today for MMC and I noticed that some people were giving ways to improve their monologue or song or maybe even some simple direction. When I went up I was not given any direction. Is this a bad thing ?! :-S

Not at all! I was given no direction and I was accepted (though for BFA Acting, not MT). They probably just saw what they needed to see.

Lol Truth, I just Really Hate The Term"We Saw All We Need To See" It Makes Me Feel Like They’re Not Interested lol

Well At least They Did Not Cut My Monologue Or Song Short Like They Did Some People

My S and D have both auditioned for many schools for MT and being given an “adjustment” or not often seems to be a factor of whether or not the auditions are running on time. If they’re running behind, they might not have time to work with you more, but still like you. We have not found adjustments to be indicative, at all, of the acceptance result, surprisingly. Some schools work with you, appear to like you and then reject you. (And of course, they might honestly like you, but there are only so many spots.) Others auditions have been matter-of-fact and brief and then they got in. Every auditor seems to have their own style, and we have never figured it out. Good luck to you and keep positive!
