Disappointed to find out CommunityCollege GPA will not transfer over..

I’ve gotten accepted to a 4 year university and will be attending this Fall. I’m a biology major and have taken Biology 1&2 and Chemistry1, finished English and a lot more. Although i still have many more courses to take I’m upset that these grades won’t transfer over they’re just my “credits”.
I still have to take Physics, Organic Chemistry and a lot more Biology courses but they are obviously extremely hard and I’m afraid my GPA won’t be what it once was.
-I plan on going to Dental school and i know it isn’t an easy ride but feel very upset that my grades/GPA won’t transfer. Will Dental schools still look at those grades? and if so how does it work?

This is not a problem. When you apply to dental school, you will need to send an official copy of your CC transcript. They will see your grades in those classes.

Dental schools generally expect grades of A and B in your undergraduate coursework…If you find that you are earning C’s in your science courses, it can be an indication that you are not making progress in developing the level of competency in the sciences that dental schools expect.
