I’m a freshmen at a small private college, but am transferring. My parents sent me to a school I knew I would not like and did not want to attend. I am basically done with everything on commonapp EXCEPT I have yet to fill out the disciplinary history part. I have never been expelled or suspended from school in my life, but was put on probation twice while at this school. Probation was a month for both, and comes with basically any violation here at this institute. Both were for alcohol, but the second incident is what is scaring me. My roommate owned a bong and was using it one night with another student in the room. I used it and packed a bowl of tobacco (called a mole). RA’s and campus safety came. They confiscated the bong, some marijuana, and a grinder, all of which my roommate confessed to owning, but because I had used the bong and there was marijuana residue, As well as a beer, I was written up for the possession/use of drug paraphernalia and the possession/use of an illegal drug. It is simply because of the marijuana residue that I was given those two violations. I only had probation for a month and had to attend a CHOICES class. How do I address this in the commonapp/do I even have to specify?
I also feel the need to note I’m in good standing with the school, had a rocky first semester academically, but have been given medication to help with my ADHD for second semester and major improvements all around.
Hi could i privately message you about what you ended up doing? I’m in a similar boat
