Dislike my major, looking to get a MBA gradate degree

I sort of uncertain of some things about a graduate degree. I recently graduated from York College with a degree in Sports Management. I enjoyed the classes that I took there but now that I am in the job market I really don't see anything I want to. I see virtually no growth and I am trying to get out of the sport industry completely. I am planning on attaining my MBA with a concentration in Marketing or Finance. I was curious, will attaining an MBA allow me to look in all other areas of business not just sports? Or because I have a sport management degree, will the MBA just make me more marketable in sports?
Thanks for the replies!

PS - I got into sports not knowing what I wanted to do, I just thought it would be cool to work in them because I like watching them. I am really interested in marketing and finance, I don't know why I did not do them originally.

A good MBA, meaning from a good school, will go a long way to help you find work - in whatever field you’re interested in. That said, the vast majority of MBA applicants have a few good years of really solid work experience under their belts. If I were you, I’d work really hard for three to five years and then think about this question again.
