would living 5 miles away from school be too far, especially when riding a bus? i have a choice of moving from an aight school (which is a mile away) or a really good one (which is 5 miles away). Thanks for any replies.

uhm actually...

due to insane family problems i drive myself to higschool. over an hour car ride ONE way.

puts things in perspective eh

id love to only have to travel 5 minutes.. .heh

i'd go to the really good school, but is the bus situation really difficult for you?

I live across the street. Literally. School starts at 8:15 and I leave the house at 8:10.

5 miles is nothing. Nothing. I would be eexhileratted if i had the chance to be 5 miles away from school. Go to the good school.

I leave the door in my car at 7:12 and I get stuck in the traffic jam of people that also leave at 7:12 and pull into the parking lot around 7:20, just in time do hear the drone of morning announcements.

wow, and i thought five miles was as far as they get. thanks guys.
btw....it takes me 15 to go to the closer school, and would probably take an hour and a half if i went to the farther one.

i'd kill to live 5 miles away from school. unfortunately, it's a 1 hour and 15 minute ride.

^same for me... i get up at 5:15, on the bus by 6:15, sleeping til 7:30

I have a 2 minute, 0.4 mile drive to school, but people drive half an hour or ride a bus over an hour to get to my rural public HS. So 5 miles is nothing -- I rode 11 miles to middle school.

7 mile drive, about 15 minutes on a nice day, 25 on a snowy day (most of the winter)

i live at school!! haha. whoo boarding
