I live two blocks away from my school; it takes four minutes to get there. Even though I'm bad with time management in the morning, I still manage to get to school on time by the late bell.
There's a better school in the district, but that means I have to get on a bus and wake up thirty minutes earlier than my normal 5:30. I convinced myself that it's up to the person's determination to get into a good school, not the school itself.

I agree with that. In earlier days we had people accepted to Ivy League schools, but after a couple of years, the best colleges our students are going of to include the UC’s and Vassar. Which, undoubtedly are good as well, but these are the people who applied and were rejected to their first choices, which for a lot of people was Stanford.

Anyway, I live about 7 minutes (by car) from my school, which means if we leave by 7:00 am it will take us 7 minutes. But, if we leave after 7:05 or so, it will usually take 15 minutes, which is pretty crazy if you think about it.

ten - fifteen minute drive (my parents). i could never walk … that would involve crossing a highway, kinda awkward! I go to a private school though, my public HS would be a three minute walk, pretty much right down the street.

It depends what time I leave. If I leave by 7:35, then it will take like 20 minutes. After that, who knows!

BTW, I live on opposite side of town of school.

A little over 3 miles.

Mine’s around 4 miles from where I live.

About twenty minutes. I live ten minutes from a scary, crappy school, but I’m not in that district. Not that the school I go to isn’t kind of crappy…

i live a block from a school thats not in my district, two miles from my public school, and a forty minute bus ride from the school i actually attend. i love new jersey

17 miles, or about a half hour by car.

About 1/4 mile. I live so close I don’t get a bus and I can hear the sports games from my house.

Umm about a 3-5 minute walk. (Depending on how busy the street I have to cross is)

Twenty minute drive

15-20 minutes.

By car.

13 miles and I can usually make it in 8-9 minutes or less (open empty hiway + open empty interstate = FTW for traveling time).

< 1/2 a mile. literally.

10 minutes.

According to my iPhone, it would take 6 minutes by car to get to school and 51 minutes to walk - about 2.6 miles

I live about .4 miles away from my school. About a 10 minute walk or about a 2 minute ride. Haha

20 minutes walk, 4 minutes drive. When we have all of the traffic from tons of people coming to school at once, it’s like 10 minutes to drive. The bus drive, which I take home often, is 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

My elementary school is like a 5-10 second drive from my house, so I always walked. if I run, I can get there in under 30 seconds.

My school is about 1.5 miles away, probably a 20 minute walk & a 5 minute drive. It’s literally just down the road from me.
