Do admissions officers read this?

If so, I think i’m screwed because I’ve been kind of a jerk on some of my posts and I realized I probably gave away enough information for them to know who I am…oh well…

i highly doubt that even if they tried to find you in CC, they would be able to recall the stats/ activities you posted from the pile of 4000+ EA applicants

if you said something like "i'm a black male. ii hold a national swimming record in trinidad, i've got a xxxx SAT," then they'd realize it was Kerron. but like someone pointed out in another thread, they can't be sure that it's that person and not someone else trying to make them look bad

Sorry, the other board closed, so I posted here instead. :o

DJ_Mack, being nonchristian, I guess I don't know the importance of having love for others?

Oh, come on...you know that's not what I meant. I hope all people know the importance of loving others, but I was merely pointing out to Kerron that because he claims to be a Christian (or at least suggests that he is one), he has no excuse for acting the way he's been acting. Some people act rudely because they don't know any better; I was just saying that Kerron should know better because Jesus taught us that we should love one another. Most other religions teach the same lesson about caring for others, and hopefully most parents teach that whether they're religious or not. I don't really want to get into a religious debate.

cmon dawn, this is an online forum, i dont think anyones gonna take it too hard if youre mean to them on CC
i hate all this "lets be supportive" crap on this forum
sometimes you just need to tell ppl their essays suck and they have no chance of getting into harvard

lol, Stefan. No one has to be all, "I love you! If you don't get in, I'm going to shower you with hugs and cookies!!" But I'm talking about people being unnecessarily obnoxious, not offering an honest opinion on someone's essay. If you don't know what I mean, check out Kerron's "Chances at Harvard" thread.

And I don't know- maybe I'm just sensitive, but I'd be pretty upset/annoyed if someone had the audacity to tell me that my essay sucked and I had no shot at Harvard...whether it was true or not. I could never be quite that blunt with anyone because some people take this CC stuff too seriously. I don't really see the point of being rude to people you don't know on an online forum. It's a waste of time. (I've wasted a lot of time here this weekend though, so I guess I shouldn't be talking.)

But I think I've done enough idealistic posting for one day... :p

most of the rude posts are hilarious tho, some of the best things on cc
i mean look at kerron's essay, thats comic gold

LoL :)...you have a point. I actually feel bad when I laugh at people's rude posts.
