do cc credits ever expire at UC's?

I know this probably varies from uni to uni, but I was wondering if anyone had an answer when it comes to community college credits for students wanting to transfer to UC's? at other unis it can depend on the major or credits (general consensus seems to be general education credits last practically forever, while math/science/technology classes can expire after so and so years)

CC credits don’t expire, but you should make sure you are completing current prereqs. A class that might have fulfilled a prereq 5 years ago may not today, and there may be new ones. Same with IGETC.

I really hope what you’re saying is true. I’ve heard some people claiming they had to start all over after as little as 5 years

I think thats only true for some schools , I know Haas does not accept classes that you have taken more than 5 years ago.

^ even general education classes??? :O
It makes sense that business major courses need to be up to date, but it’d be surprising if they wouldn’t take general eds like basic english or humanities classes

Your gpa reset after you transfered.
