I have a 1300 right now on my SAT, and am taking it again tomorrow.

My question is: will I be penalized by colleges if I get a lower score?

I recommend studying hard and ensuring that you don't score lower.

Well, I know I want to do better. I'm just worried what will happen if I don't.

only some schools take your highest subscores...like UNC does..UC's dont..

it really depends on the college, most say they don't, but if it really comes down to you and somebody else, and you have taken multiple SATs to do well, and they haven't, i'm sure it would be looked down on, if only slightly.

wat if i got a 800m 540v and then a 690m 600v. wat happens then???

you have a 1400, but i dont understand how you got an 800 and then dipped below 700

Now I'm wondering if I should just forget about taking it tomorrow. I'm not sure the risks are worth the rewards at this point.

HELP!!!

if it meant so much to you, you would of studied. only ppl who think you cant study for the SAT get the same or lower scores.

Well, I did study. I'm still worried. I got a 730 verbal, and I'm not sure I'll be able to improve much.

And my 570 math... I'm horrible at math. Horrible. No matter how much I've studied, I'm afraid I won't do much better.

hey, it never hurts to try! i am like the exact opposite of you..stupid verbal. lol
i am takin SAT II's tomorrow though..

i got 660M, 640M, 710M on my 3 tests respectively, but my verbal went up 40 pts each time

580V, 620V, 660V

so just try! it wont hurt you.
