In my first semester of 9th grade I got a C- in geometry. In the second semester, I got a D-. yeah, I really REALLY suck at math, but now I’m doing better. I think I want to go to CSUN. I looked on their website and it said I had to recieve a C or higher in geometry to get admitted.
many people say that CSUs look at freshman grades but don’t really count it and that they only count sophomore and junior year. can someone please tell me if CSUN or CSUs in general reject you for having a D freshman year?
CSU’s look at Freshman grades in regards to meeting the a-g course requirements, so did you retake the Geometry class since you received the D? Here is the CSU/UC a-g course matrix with the minimum requirements:

Freshman grades are not used in the CSU/UC GPA calculation (10-11th grades only) but you need to pass the minimum a-g required courses to be admitted to a CSU or UC which includes classes Freshman year.
