Do I have a chance at NYU?

I'm thinking of applying to CAS.

I'm a junior and I haven't taken any AP/honor classes. All the classes [besides 2 electives] were College Prep. Under CP classes are general classes. I'm taking 2 AP classes next year though, I don't know if it matters.
My GPA by end of this year will be around 90/91 unweighted, weighted 96/97.

I'm taking the SATs in March, and I'm taking 3 SAT subject tests.
I'm also taking a college course offered at my school next year for a semester for 3 college credits.

As long as I do well on my Sats, do I have a chance?

it's really hard to say given the little amount of information.

Lack of AP courses could hurt you.

You need to have a really good application in order to distinguish yourself from other similar academically strong applicants.

Thanks. Bumpp

Hard to say with the limited information offered.

hmm..well right now I'm in the top 18% of my class..but my end of the year I should be around 10%. [Our class is huge..800+ students] I really pulled up my grades this year. It's not even official so this is just an estimate..I won't know for sure until next year.

ECs- 3 clubs for 11th & 12th grade, I have a lot of tutoring hours from last year and this year and I'll be doing it next year, I'm going to start volunteering at a hospital soon, and in 9th grade I volunteered at a hospital for 10 hours [I don't know if that counts]

I'm taking the SATs in March, so I guess I'll update this thread when I get my scores back?
