Do I have a chance at USC Engineering?

I heard it got more selective.

GPA: 3.73
Rank: 49/526
SAT I: 770CR 720M 710W (1490/1600, 2200/2400)
SAT II: I'll do those whenever.

ECS:

Debate (2nd place in the state), ROTC (4 years), Arkansas Leadership Development (4 years), Student Congress (1 year), Community Service in my high school and a hospital (about 120 hours though . . . ), etc. etc.

Hooks:

African American, Arkansas Residence.

Chances at these schools, but mostly USC, are appreciated.

USC (Engineering)
Vanderbilt
UMich (My UMich GPA is 3.6 . . . ouch)
UMiami
Georgia Tech
Cornell (I'll work on my math for Cornell Engineering).

Thanks.

You've got to be kidding me.

I think you'll be fine for USC engineering assuming that GPA is unweighted. I'm not familiar enough with the other schools to comment, but I think you are, at the very least, well-qualified for all of them.

dude, you gotta aim higher

Stanford or Princeton engineering

Stanford is my reach-of-god-in-my-dreams school. I have extenuating circumstances regarding my GPA though, and I'm retaking the SATs.

You're an URM, which frankly allows you to aim for higher schools.

So go for it.

A 2200 is a high score for anyone.

Thanks for the replies, are there any opinions on other schools I've listed?
