Do I Have A Shot @ Penn SEAS?

I am currently a rising sophomore at Villanova University. I am keeping my options open for a junior year transfer, and I just want to if I have a chance at Penn SEAS (Computer Engineering major).

Ethnicity: Hispanic
Gender: Male

School: Villanova
Major: Computer Engineering
Semester 1 GPA: 3.67
Semester 2 GPA: 3.85
Overall GPA: 3.75

-Thus far, I have A's in all of my engineering-related courses (if that helps my chances)
-I have good EC's w/ leadership, but no internships (all of them wanted experience)

I am applying as a junior year transfer because my HS stats were decent/mediocre (3.5-3.6ish GPA, 27 ACT).

Do I have a chance?

bump… :)

bump again…

need some advice

bump again…

i transferred from villanova to penn so i can offer some advice. I had a 4.0 when i transferred but generally speaking i hear a 3.85 and up is strong enough to have a chance for Penn coming from nova. Your URM status will prolly help and all As in your major is good. Considering SEAS has a higher accept rate than the college, you will stand a decent shot at it. I do not know how much weight Penn puts into ACT/SAT scores of transfers but all my transfer friends had ACT scores above 32 and most had 34-35.

Thanks for the advice!
