Do I have to send in residency claimant card copy?

<p>I applied to UF earlier today, and am now applying to USF as my other safe school. I am a Swiss citizen, but have a green card here.
For the part where I enter the info of the person claiming residency here for me (my father), USF is asking for a front and back copy of his green card mailed to them. Is it the same with UF?..I don't remember if they mentioned it or not and am completely unsure now.
Anyone know?</p>

<p>EDIT: Just saw that USF also asks for my green card, copy front and back...Is UF the same for that, too?</p>

You have to submit the copy of your green card with a form.</p>

<p>On the online application it says, “Please submit a copy of your resident alien card or equivalent visa documentation to the Office of Admissions. Please mail this after you submit the application.” </p>

<p>I’m mailing copies as soon as I finish the essay.</p>

<p>how is safe is to just mail out copies of your greencard? and when you do this, do you need to indicate SS#, university id?</p>

<p>I don’t see why it wouldn’t be safe. Don’t indicate your SS if you don’t feel safe doing so.</p>
