So I applied to UF on October and I submitted my SAT scores and Transcript.
However, I am kinda confused right now because of the residency stuff.
I am an in-state florida resident and on the application, I wrote down all informations such as drivers license number and vehicle registration number.
Do I have to send any documentation or any residency related copies to UF? Or is the residency informations that I wrote on the UF application enough?

It saids on the UF admission residency page that "Your initial residency classification is determined by the Office of Admissions when you apply to the university. Failure to provide all relevant information and required documentation in the residency section of the admission application could result in a non-Florida or out-of-state resident classification for tuition purposes."

I'm just curious because I am doing the USF application right now and it saids on the residency section that I have to mail required copies to the admissions office of the institution to which I am applying and a copy of my parents' most recent tax return or other documentation may be requested to establish dependence/independence.

Do I have to send any residency related copies??

You’re definitely confused because for USF you don’t even have to do that. Fill in the required blanks. I believe you only need to send in supporting documentation.

…but then again I have Florida PrePaid so either way I don’t have to sen in that documentation.

Thank you for the informations!
So for both UF and USF, I don’t have to send any residency copies since I wrote the informatons on the applications???
And what are considered as supporting documentations?

Supporting documents are tax returns, vehical registration, residency forms, anything that determines whether you are or are not an instate resident/dependent.

So I have to actually send the copies…
But why do I have to??? I already wrote the informations on the application.
Oh and where do I have to send the copies?

As long as you filled in the blanks for the drivers license, or voting card etc. your fine and have to send nothing in. Only if they question the legitimacy of what you put in i.e. like lying about your residency or feel that you made a mistake will they every ask for copies of the documents, which is pretty rare. Don’t worry about it.
