I received an email today from UF, it said:

"As you take steps to prepare for your transition to UF, please be aware that our office has not finalized your residency status. You were mailed a letter requesting additional documentation to verify your residency status. We have not yet received the needed documents. "

lol....i never received a letter requesting verification. how do i check my residency status online? thought i had a checklist of everything that I needed confirmed.

Call them in the morning and speak with someone personally. As you may know, state U's in Florida are very careful about verifying residency due to the very low tuition rates for in-state students. They could have sent you a letter with a simple typo in the address, and it could have been returned, instantly raising their suspicions about residency. Just call. Best to call in person and explain that you never received the letter and go from there. Don't delay, and DO NOT IGNORE THIS.

lol okay. i shall call them ASAP tomorrow. i find this email very strange....lol i've been a FL resident since the 2nd grade. shrugs maybe it's because I moved to a different town this year?

i should submit info to the Gatordex?
