I took my first year of Spanish in 8th grade and Spanish 2 in freshman so will it count for the e requirement?
It should count because they are looking for competency.
My children all took Spanish 1 in 8th grade.
They then took 3 additional years of Spanish at their high school. They got into the UC’s.
Make sure you fulfill your F requirement: one year of visual or performing arts.
2 years is minimum, 3 years is recommended to be competitive. I suggest you take another year at least.
