Do I Need to take the SAT again?

Hi, I'm new to this website and was not sure if this was the right place to post my question or not but anyway, here it goes:

I've taken the SAT twice (my cumulative score is 2000: 620 CR, 630 M, 750 W) and I've taken the ACT once (my composite score is 31 & my Combined English/Writing is 30). I've also taken two SAT II's (Biology: 630 & US History: 730). I'm not content at all with my SAT scores and I recently started a rigorous study plan to prepare for the SAT in October (my goal is a 680 or higher in each section). At the moment, I'm extremely frustrated with this study schedule & I'm wondering if I should just submit my ACT + SAT II's. I know that with most colleges, they accept either/or but I want to be 100% positive that there is no benefit at all from submitting both SAT & ACT scores before I abandon studying for the SAT in October. By the way, these are the schools that I'm applying to: Northwestern, Yale, Columbia, Stanford, University of Chicago, New York University, Rice, Harvard, UT @ Austin, Duke, & Dartmouth.

You might want to post this in the SAT Preparation forum instead

Okay, thank you!

For the schools you’re aiming for, yes you should take both the SAT and ACT again. I’m sorry for any stress this adds to your senior year!

I would recommend taking it again.
