honestly barrons has so much stuff on math that no other books have, and i guess that's good, but i don't really want to waste all my time doing that

could someone list all the key concepts i should get from that book please

Thank you! I was looking over it last night and skipped like, 30 pages. I mean, seriously though. Do I honestly have to know all 130+ pages of math concepts from Alg.I through Trig.?

What kind of score do you want?

I would love a 30+ on math.

34+ is what i want

What tests have you taken so far?

Well, I've taken a practice test from PR's Cracking the ACT and scored a 27.

what real tests (PSAT, SAT, ACT) have you taken and what grade are you in?

Ah, I took the PSAT last year and I took the SAT twice and the ACT once and I scored pretty bad (didn't prep much though). I'm a senior.

Bad is relative but at this point I don't think you can afford to skip any pages of the review books.

i scored a 30 on the PR cracking the ACT test
mostly because i missed ALL of the trig which without i would have about a 33
i'm a sophmore in algbera 2

You, on the other hand, have a long way to study and practice. You know where you are weak. You'll do good.

The PR score seems to be low, I scored a 36 on the practice test, while I got a 34 on the real thing. And yes, it is best to know all the math concepts, some more than others, but skim the least important and study the most important.

if you are a sophomore why are you taking the test NOW? you havent even started trig, let alone finished algebra 2!! wait until the start of junior year if you really want to take it early and get a good score

algebra is ezpz for the most part for me so i'm pretty sure i could learn most of the concepts on my own (at least the ACT ones) and seeing as how there are only a few trig problems i figure i can learn and get right at least half of them

Clarification:
Are matrices seriously necessary for the ACT?

Yes
(someone please teach me how to do them as well i lost my barons book

Y_Y
