Do I still write the chemistry "essay for applicants to specific programs"...?

…if I’m doing Biochemistry? I’ll probably do it regardless, but I would like a definite answer.

I was wondering about this earlier - but I believe the essay is to learn about applicants interested only in the physical sciences.

I believe biochemistry is considered a life science and (since Brown has many applicants choosing life science courses), the essay is mainly only for interests in chemistry, not biochemistry.

o_O twitches eye

…too late.

I actually picked biochemistry instead of chemistry just so I wouldn’t have to write the essay and I got in. Ironically, I am actually thinking of doing biochem now instead of chem.
