My roomate asked for me to bring my xbox, I dont mind doing it but do other kids bring it? I dont want to seem like a nerd being the only one bringing it.

My roommate brought his Gamecube and Mario Kart and Smash Bros. I made some of my best friends playing those games and leaving the door open. So yeah, definitely bring it. But don’t get too immersed in them and become antisocial.

Yeah lots of students (mostly male) bring video game systems.

Fifa shots? Super Smash shots (you die take a shot)? Yes yes they do. As stupid as those games sound fifa shots was all over my floor.

fifa, super smash bros brawl, COD, 2k12, madden are big games on campus that people play with other students sometimes. Supposdly the pc gaming is big on campus because i always see other students playing on their laptops and even in the engineering computer labs

and usually these are the kids who 4uck up their GPA.

Sixflags is right! Which is why I left mine at home!

Moderation is key.

People who don’t have self control mess up their GPA, anywhere from Partying excessively to just hanging out can fail or get bad grades in their classes.

Decide whether you came to school to do good or average. You can bring games and do whatever you want to relax because most students aren’t gunnars and won’t study every day.

To be successful, you have to study/practice for class but that doesn’t require you to be anti-social.

If you want to bring games and what not go for it, but its you who has to control the temptation, and study for the class that has the exam next week not couple of days before the exam.

Freshmen year is probably a favorite for all undergrads but don’t let it be the year where you are on academic probation and one step from the edge of dismissal.

I’m bringing my Wii! I’ll be playing Zelda games, Monster Hunter Tri, and Brawl!!! =D I’m a girl btw. It’s not JUST guys who play video games in college =P

There’s nothing wrong with bringing it, there is some time for fun too, not just studying! Limit yourselves though. The disadvantage to having a tv and game system in your room is that people might come in and ask to play when you want to study.

Well, I am a girl and I like video games so I will be bringing mine! I just hope my room mates are not judgemental and annoying about it. Girls seem to be very judgmental on other girls about what is acceptable about the way a girls should be acting and what is not. Not that men arent like that towards women also. In any case, I will be bring VGs regardless.

this is an easy one…yes bring your xbox. you won’t be the only kid bringing it, i guarantee it.

pc gaming ftw

I think a great teambuilding exercise for all dorms would be having each floor play Slender in the dark on one computer.
