I am going to have 150.35 units after just 4 and one half years of school.

Now, I will meet the accounting requirements, my only concern is the 150 units of education.

My transcripts will add up to 150.35 units but only because I have taken a good deal of sport classes (rock climbing, scuba diving, ultimate Frisbee, etc.) without them I would not make the 150 unit req.

So does anyone know if they do indeed count as education units, I mean they are on my transcripts....

sweet! thanks, that is great news.

Then, which classes do not count?

Pretty much all classes count that are on a transcript from a 4-year accredited college or university.

Sometimes states have VERY specific rules about what is not allowed, but 99% of the time, you can take literally ANYTHING to finish off the 150 hour requirement.

Hence, a lot of people in the industry think the 150 hour rule is complete BS. It is just an artificial barrier to entry and without it MACC programs across the country would cease to exist.

Sometimes internships can only count for a certain number of credits, so that can be a specific one to watch out for.

Click you state and find out the specifics for yourself about what is allowed and what isn’t. Like I said, each state has completely different requirements.
