Do test prep classes help if you've studied a lot already?

Hi, I took the ACT for the first time this September, and I got 35 on English/Writing, 31 on Reading, and 25 on Science and Math. I'm kind of worried because I studied the Math and Science a lot already. I'm not looking at top top schools like Ivies, but I'd really like to go a school like Macalester, so I think I need to get at least 31 overall. I'm a Junior, but I'm honestly not that stellar as far as extracurricular activities go, so I really need test scores to help me out. I don't know what to do because I did at least 10 practice tests for the math with my tutor over the summer, and I tried to study the Science on my own. I feel like it's hopeless, because I understood it while I was going over it with my tutor or looking at the book, but it all seemed new and extremely difficult on the test. It takes me forever to do Math problems, and I wasn't able to even attempt a lot of them. I don't know what to do for the Science, because I know all the strategies and practicing doesn't seem to help. I was wondering if any of you have taken a test prep class, and if you found it helpful. I'm normally fairly good at taking multiple choice tests, so strategies aren't the issue. I do well in Science in school, and I'm generally a B Math student, but it's so much harder on the test. Is there hope for improvement or should I just settle for a mediocre 29?

If your family can afford it continue with the tutors. For my D, we used two Math tutors, one for science along with an English tutor. Another math tutor might work better than the last one.

Not sure if test prep classes are the best way to go.
