<p>im on the waitlist and i want to send a funny letter (nothing inappropriate)...but im afraid to take a risk. </p>
<p>also, how does it work with you sending them a letter. does your counselor read it on the spot or does he/she put it in your "file" so to speak and when it's time to review, all the adcoms review that waitlisted letter THEN.</p>

<p>I meant like does your counselor read the letter once received, or does she stow it away until May 1? Cuz i worked really hard to get the letter in early, and it would be a tad discouraging if they just stacked it away without reading it. And because my letter is pretty long, the chances of that happening probably increases.</p>
<p>Showing the school “the love” is always beneficial.</p>
