Do the AP Scholar Awards not apply to seniors?

First of all, sorry if this post is confusing or all over the place! Anyways, I know that you have to score a 3 or better on at least 3 or more AP exams, but due to scheduling conflicts, I was not able to take any APs during my Freshmen and Sophomore Years. For junior year, I will take at least 2 APs (preferably 3, but it depends on my schedule). Now if I take 4 APs senior year and score 3 or better on the exams, will I not qualify for the award because I'd be a senior? Even if I do, since the tests are in the spring time, I couldn't write it on my applications right? I've kind of made it my goal to win the award because I'm so goal-orientated and it would be a very strong drive for me to maintain a good grade. Also, it might help me just a little on the college admissions process right? Also, I haven't gotten my schedule fixed yet, but these are the classes I've signed up for junior year. They probably won't all fit, so what do you guys think I should remove? Thank you!

bump…anyone?

I’m pretty sure that Seniors can get the awards. Good luck!

If you score well enough in the spring of your senior year, you will still get the award (I believe they just print something on or with your mailed score report), but I don’t see how it would be possible to include on an app, since you wouldn’t have taken the tests yet. Any benefit would be made negligible by the summer after your senior year, but you can still see that you achieved it : ).
