Do the UC's take into account semester courseload?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if UC's take into account when the classes are taken? It's kind of hard to explain but for example, would it look better if an applicant were to take hard classes all in one semester and excel as opposed to doing well in those classes, but spread out over a few semesters? I don't know if that makes much sense but anyone got an idea? Thanks in advance.

they don’t care at all.

I don’t think they care how you spread it out as long as you finish all the required courses. In some cases (think UCLA BizEcon & Haas, impacted majors), I would argue that completing all your prerequisites before your final spring semester is more beneficial than leaving a few to be finished in the final spring semester.
