Do they want you to answer the optional personal statement?

<p>I did post about this a few days ago, but the app is due tomorrow so I'm becoming impatient with you people who were apparently not intrigued by my question. :) So...do I answer the optional personal statement? The prompt is this:</p>

<p>Personal Statement (Optional)
If there is anything about your background or personal experience that you feel would be helpful for the Admissions Committee to know as we evaluate your application, please complete the personal statement below. </p>

<p>I was going to put a completely random essay that's only kind of an essay, just a fun thing that is really just about how much I love musical theatre.</p>
