Do undergrad admissions offices view AP score reports?

If I submit an AP score report to a college that I am applying to, will the adcoms view and take into account the scores as a part of the admissions process? While I'd like to know for W&M specifically, I'd appreciate any input.

No, they will not.

Thanks! @AnnieBeats‌

Generally, yes. They will read and consider everything in your file.

Don’t send in AP test scores that will hurt your chances if you are not required to, until after you have an admission offer.

Are you sure the scores would hurt you?

I did self-report all of my AP scores on CommonApp, however, I was asking about the official AP Score Report. Thanks nonetheless :)

Yes, they will look at official score reports, I sent those to all colleges I applied to last year, including W&M. Some schools (not W&M) actually specifically asked me to send an official report not self-report because I was using an AP score of a 5 to prove I learned the material in a course I didn’t do great in.

AP and SAT Subject scores are optional for W&M but we will review them if submitted. We are happy to accept self-reported or official scores for these kinds of optional exams.
