Do you attend CCNY or NYU POLY?

<p>I've been accepted to NYU POLY for the Spring 2011 semester. Their entrance fees seem a bit steep: $300 for commitment, $400 for housing, $225 for required software, and throw in ~$500 for a laptop. I noticed that their Comp Sci program is not accredited by ABET. CCNY's is, however.</p>

<p>Anyone go to NYU POLY here? I'm on the fence between Poly and CCNY where I've also been accepted. CCNY has been difficult to work with but it is so much cheaper. Also, how well does NYU POLY work with veterans? Their VA office has been hard to get a hold off. I have the full 9/11 Bill to cover the costs.</p>

<p>I’d say go to NYU Poly, because it’s a respected school. It’s reputation is better than CCNY, but if money is that much of a problem, then go with CCNY. I’ve read that ABET is not very important at all for Comp Sci majors either. On the other hand, I want to apply to NYU Poly as well. What were your stats like? I kind of want to chance my self if you dont mind, hehe.</p>
