Do you have school spirit?

<p>This week is spirit week for our school in preparation for the big Thanksgiving Football game, and basically - we had Pajama Day on Monday and Wacky Tacky day on Tuesday (today), neither of which I participated in.</p>

<p>I don't hate my school or anything... it's just such a hassle. I'd really have to go out and buy PJ's just to wear once... and wacky tacky day is just no. Nope. LOL, I'm not even going to our pep rally tomorrow, I'm trying to ditch (secretly) and head out on a road trip with my family.</p>

<p>But some kids go all out with the school pride and what have you.

<p>Yeah. We really should just get the week off, but we go Monday, Tuesday, and are dismissed at 10am on Wednesday.</p>

<p>We have dress up days also, and I do some of them for fun. Tacky day is always really fun at our school, we all go full out hahaha xD. But, I don’t really have school spirit at all. Our football team is horrible but that is the only sport anyone at my school cares about…sigh…</p>

<p>HA. Just get me out of this cesspool of mediocrity. I’ve never been to homecoming/prom, never been to a basketball game, never bought a yearbook, and only went to a couple football games, when I was a junior. Get on my apathetic level. HS is a massive massive massive waste of time.</p>

<p>I have school spirit, but I have no sports spirit because I think it’s silly that athletes need quite so much applause just to play a game XD So I don’t really participate in sports-related stuff like pep rallies, but I’ll do some of the other things (:</p>

<p>I really, really don’t. I only go to football games because I have to as a marching band member. And I’m a senior this year, so everyone’s all peppy about school spirit, yet I remain as apathetic as ever.
When I go to college, and the school will be one I will choose and be proud of, then I will probably have school spirit. My high school, not as much.</p>

<p>Didn’t participate in Spirit Week ever at my HS. I was called heartless. It’s whatever now.</p>

<p>HA. We havent won a football game in two years and our basketball teams never made it to state, course not…</p>

<p>Nope, my school is absolute crap and doesn’t deserve spirit. Maybe it should focus on education instead of irrelevant things like school spirit and sports. Like, oh idk, maybe adding a couple more AP Classes? And funding some of the non-■■■■■■ clubs?</p>

<p>^ I second that. The athletic department in our school hasn’t been over 500 in like 7 years. (This is overall) There have been select teams making it to states but rarely.</p>

<p>By the way, no way ahaha. Everyone complains about our school having no school spirit and they don’t do anything about it… I wish my school did.</p>
