Do you have your driver's license?

<p>I've kind of been pushing off driving practice since I've got so mich schoolwork and am always too tired to drive. Since you guys are all smart and probably study a lot, when did you/will you get your license? Any funny driving stories? What's the oldest age of someone getting a license that you know? Just curious. :)</p>

<p>I’ll have had my learner’s permit for two years in August.</p>

<p>Yeah, I got my permit 6 months after my 16th birthday and just renewed it. Funny thing is I got my permit on my friend’s birthday, so she got hers on the same day, and I’m pretty sure she already has her license.</p>

<p>I’ll get it this month. Don’t worry if you had to renew your permit haha. I actually hate driving, I find it to be a very “manly” thing. :stuck_out_tongue: I enjoy shotgun very well.</p>

<p>I got my driver’s license the day of my 16th birthday. A lot of driving is necessary where I live so waiting isn’t really an option.</p>

<p>Nah. I’m planning on getting my permit this summer. Lolfail. I could’ve gotten it a year ago. :)</p>

<p>I got my license about 7 months after my permit, don’t worry about it. It isn’t all that great.</p>

<p>I got my license the day I turned 16!!! And it is that great if you have your own car. So much freedom (:</p>

<p>I’ve had my license for about a month now. I got my permit about a month after I turned 16 and I got my license six months after I got my permit.</p>

I am 18 years old now, so half a year after I turned 16</p>

<p>I got my license at 17, and my permit at 15. I had to wait because I had several surgeries -_-</p>

<p>Yup…I am SO GLAD I don’t have to worry about that crap anymore. I got my permit in January of 2011, then took the behind the wheel test for my license in August 2011 and failed, and I was devastated. I took it again in September of 2011…and failed it again. I was so upset, so crushed, and so disappointed I just said F it, and put it off for a few months. I took it AGAIN on December 30th, the last friday of the year, and I had finally passed and was I literally jumping around the DMV like a lunatic. It was 5 days before my 17th birthday too!</p>

<p>Got my permit at 16, waited 6 months, got my license at 17! Last week I got my license, actually.</p>

<p>I’m 16 but I haven’t had my permit for a year yet. Only 10 more days :slight_smile: I have class the day I"m eligible though, so probably 11.</p>
