Do you look young/old for your age?

People definitely think I look younger. Ah well.

Anyone under 12 get into the city festival for free. I am 17 and has never had to pay.

^ Lmao. That is too funny.

That is pretty sweet lol!

I hate looking too young. I mean when everybody says its good to look young, they’re talking about thirty year olds looking like twenty year olds, lets be honest. A fourteen year old does not want to look like a four year old.

When I’m in the states people think I’m my age or older depending on the place I am (e.g. if I were at a university people would assume I was either a rising senior or a student there) but when i’m here i look like a kid, apparently.

On a typical day (i.e. not dressed up, without makeup), I usually get 16-19 (I’m 17). When I get dressed up and everything I’ve managed to pass for my mid-20s.

depends really. if i’m in a professional outfit, people might thing i’m like in college or something. but for the most part, i look my age or a bit younger.

It’s nice to see I’m not the ONLY one that looks younger for my age. I’m 17 and at some places people think I look like I’m 14 or 15…depends on the place.

When I worked at a coffee shop, people would be like “Are you even allowed to be working here yet?” which I thought was really rude.

I also hate the dreaded line “You are NOT 17!” like I’m going to lie about it lol.

Whatevs.

lol same here im 17 and ppl think im like in middle school too lol yay im not alone!
it can get annoying sometimes though

Depends on the day and the outfit. If cleavage is there, oh, can you drive yet? Sports clothes and sneakers, and all of a sudden I’m 8.

It really depends for me. I’m 16, about to turn 17 and I have gotten ages from 14 - 19.

Older

I get asked what college am I attending.

i can easily pass as 14. with make-up and the right clothes maybe 19. i’m 17, btw. i dont really wear make-up though.

lol looking younger definitely has its pluses though. All those discounted prices! My parents always try to use it to their advantage :/

my mom commented that orientation i looked like a lil’ kid… i’m seventeen.

too bad I look young

most people would guess im in middle school and im a senior

My brother, who’s a 6th grader, had a friend over and his friend goes “Is your sister older or younger?” My brother replies “older” His friend says “Oh. Is she in 7th grade then?” I’m a sophomore.

When I was in 8th grade, I was walking through the 5th grade hall at my middle school before school to get to my locker and it was field day so they were all dressed up with their class shirt and had their hair sprayed different colors so one of the teachers on hall duty asks me “Aww hunny did you leave your shirt at home?” Sad thing is… some of the 5th graders were actually taller than me.

I’d say I look younger. I turned 17 a month ago and people tell me I look 16 ):

Younger, I think. I’m 5’1" so that makes a lot of difference. I usually dress somewhat formally (I hate jeans and most t-shirts) so sometimes people think I’m a bit older.

I think it’s going to be like this the rest of my life. Sometimes people ask my mother if they can talk to her parents when she answers the door, and she gets carded buying wine at the grocery store. And she’s 54!

I’m a senior now.
My freshman year, an art teacher asked me if I was in 5th grade…
oh well, everyone in my school knows she’s crazy anyway
