Do you look young/old for your age?

<p>Ha… I look older. I just turned 15 in June, yet most of the ages I get range from 17 to 21 (huh?). People tell me it’s because I look and act mature, but I honestly have no idea.</p>

<p>I’m 17 but people think I look younger than my 15 year old brother. I guess it’s because of my height.</p>

<p>Im 17…and the youngest I’ve gotten was 11. That was sad. But I think I probably could easily pass for 14,15…I just tell myself it will be better when I’m a lot older to look younger.</p>

<p>hahaa older for me…When I was a freshman in high school and went to my sister’s college orientation, I was asked if I signed in and register. I had to explain I was there with my sister and was only in high school. and that same year, we were asked if we were twins. She wasn’t happy about that because I was 14 and she was 18. hahaha and recently, I’ve been to like 3 r-rated movies and I have not been asked to see i.d. for any of them, despite the fact I am only 16 and you have to be 17 to get in without an adult. hahaha</p>

<p>I look about my age. It’s my voice that gets people. When people hear me talk, they assume I am older than I really am.</p>

<p>I look older. Ever since 8th grade, whenever I’d go to the hair salon they’d ask me how old I am. When I say that I’m 14/15/16, they’d reply with “Oh, I thought you were 18/19/20.” A teacher I’ve had all through high school so far thought I was a senior when I was a freshman, then this past year she thought I was a senior again since I act and look very mature for a freshman/sophomore.</p>

I’m 17 years old, senior this fall and I actually think I look my age. I don’t really recall that I look different from my age ( I guess no one really make such guesses, or to me personally), though if anything I would say I look younger than my age, not older.</p>

<p>Older. I got a bunch of band kids together and we went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill and asked the waitress to guess our ages (lol…I promise I didn’t start it), she guessed 18 for me and like 14 for others.</p>

I feel like I’m 80 years old. I swear I have Alzheimer’s. Today instead of putting my plate at the side of the sink to be cleaned, I started walking upstairs with it. What the hell? Yesterday I put food in the microwave. Three seconds later I was like, “Uhm, what was that I put in there.” And then other random stuff.'</p>

<p>Anyway, if you want to know what I look like, to sum it all up – sexy.</p>

<p>I turned 17 last month but usually look younger (except in China, where a 5’5" girl is tall). Last week I tried to donate blood but was asked for my ID to prove I was 17. I didn’t know you could get carded for blood drives!</p>

<p>Anyway, I didn’t have my license and couldn’t give any. :(</p>

I’m 16.
Since middle school, the barber always asked my mom to pay adult price, she thought I was a college student !
Two years ago, I went to a department store with my aunt, the sales lady thought I was her husband !</p>

<p>I look about my age, but depending on how I dress etc I can make myself appear slightly younger or older. More ‘innocent’ looks tend to make me look younger (like maybe younger teens) while more pragmatic (ex: hair in bun, comfortable but not very well-matched or good-looking clothing) or more <em>ahem</em> ‘mature’ clothing tend to make me look older.</p>

<p>i look so young for my age. When I was like 14-15 i looked around my age but I haven’t changed a bit since then. In my senior class, I was the only person who wasn’t embarrassed when they put up pictures up from freshman year. I looked exactly the same.</p>

<p>young, when I was at the barber a while ago the barber asked me if I had a job and i said no, then he said “yeah you look too young to be in the corporate world” I am 16 :/</p>

<p>many people mistake me for 13-14 it’s really embarrassing :(</p>

<p>my situation isnt as bad as someone i volunteer under, she graduated college already and was mistaken for a high school student. i still remember that day, she was so embarrassed!</p>

<p>Everyone assumes I’m 13 or 14 when I’m actually 17. I don’t mind, I love looking younger than what I should. Looking older will get real old once people hit 30. LOL</p>
