I applied two minors. It happens that I was accepted by both minors. Does it mean I MUST complete them in order to get graduated?

no

so you can graduate first then come back to finish your minors?

No, you can’t graduate then pick up 2 minors. Are you a senior or a junior?

I have two more years to go. I am unsure if I can finish two minors in time.

Do you need the two minors? It seems excessive tbh

No. When you file the paperwork to graduate at the end of a particular quarter, you are done. If you want to finish your minor(s) and are under the unit cap, don’t file the paperwork.

I noticed the minors are on my degree progress report already. (1) will get something in my diploma about my minors if I finish them (2) so there is an option for me to decide when I want to graduate if I have not finished my minors by the time I suppose to get out? I can file the paper to not continue my minors, or I can choose not to file the paperwork in order to remain in UCLA to finish my minors?

re (2) - what you said is my understanding, but I’m not a UCLA administrator. You should confirm this with a UCLA counselor.

i just graduated and didnt finish a philosophy minor… I had no problems with graduation but i didnt get the minor of course. i also had to email the minor’s counselor saying i needed to drop it in order to get me degree though… but that took only around 1 hr to do.
