Do you need Bio in high school to study med?

<p>I dropped biology a couple of years ago because my school's teachers are simply HORRIBLE. I've been taking physics and chemistry ever since.</p>

<p>If I apply for something like dentistry, will I need to have Bio on my high school transcript?</p>

<p>I did 3 years of Biology before I dropped it. That meets my HS requirement (3 years)</p>

<p>if you meet HS graduation requirement you are fine. I am pretty sure for dentistry and definitely for medical school you will need Biology with Lab in college. That does not have to be at the HS level, just make sure to take it in college.</p>

<p>Agreed with above. You’ll need it in college, but as long as your graduating from highschool, you should be fine :)</p>

<p>At my high school you can’t graduate without taking bio…You have to take bio before you’re allowed to take chem or physics or environmental science or anything, and it’s done in either freshman or sophomore year…</p>
