<p>I'm applying to Scripps College as regular decision and i wasn't sure if i have a chance of getting accepted.</p>

Intended major: Psychology</p>
<p>Gpa: 3.55
SAT: 1920 (590 CR, 690 M, 640 W)
SAT II: 660 Math II, 620 Bio E, 800 Korean
ACT: 28 (composite) (32 M, 27 R, 25 S, 27 E, 10 W)
APs: Biology 4, Psychology 5
Rank: School does not rank but within top quarter at the least.
I'm not sure if i'm going to submit both ACT and SAT. I need some advice on that. </p>
<p>Recommendation letters: Really good. I got one from my chemistry teacher who i also TAed for, she knows me well as a person and she talked about my dedication, strong work ethics, etc. as well as hardships I dealt with because i was harassed because of my race, and being low income family living in a really affulent town.
The other one is from my US History teacher, who LOVED me. He's like my second dad. He wrote that i'm the type of person he wants his daughters to be like when they get older. He also knew me well in person.
Counselor Recommendation: Very strong. I've known my counselor since freshman year, so she knows me very well. </p>
<p>Essays: Pretty Good. </p>
<p>ECs: Mentoring program with nearby elementary school (12) American Red Cross volunteer (10,11,12) Library tutor (9, 10) Church Orchestra - First chair, flute (11) Local community center - volunteered in various events for children (10, 11, 12), Local Animal shelter (12), Licence/Permit program assistant for local city government (12) Human Rights Club (11) Asian Student Union (10, 11) Dance team (10, 11) UNICEF club (9, 10, 11) self taught flute, plays multiple instrument, black belt in taekwondo, advanced skiier, and golfer. speaks 3 languages - Korean, Japanese, English. </p>
<p>Notes: Immigrated to USA 5 years ago. Low income family.</p>
