Do you wear glasses/contacts?

Just got contacts today. Plan to wear them during school and wear glasses after dinner time. I don't trust having something in my eyes for a long period of time. But I need contacts because I play sports.

i love my contacts i wear em like 16 hours a day and have no problems. break the 'rules' and if u do it rite theres no horrible happenings. contacts rock

whatever, nerds.

I have glasses but my eyes are really borderline so I don't need unless I'm trying to read something really far away. I've never even worn them...

Glasses on the regular and contacts when I'm feeling special. My vision is horrible and staring all day into the computer messing with photoshop doesn't make it any better...

no glasses for me, my eyes are super strong

I just got glasses two days ago, but I haven't worn them yet as I'm still in denial.

^Aww. Chin up, soldier! Glasses aren't that bad! For instance... Things are a LOT clearer when you wear them. And some of them can actually look pretty cool.

^ there's a reason why so many people get contacts.

GLASSSES! all the way. they are so much more convenient then contacts.

Sometimes i wear contacts, but most of the time i wear glasses. >.<

I've had glasses on and off since kindergarten. I wore them all the time when I was young. When I got braces in 5th grade I stopped wearing them, because I felt self-conscious having both braces and glasses. I wore them for part of eighth grade, got braces again and stopped wearing them again, and recently got new glasses in April and have been wearing them since.

My eyesight isn't terribly bad, and it's only for distance, really, like when I drive. I have no trouble seeing the board at school (though I rarely get placed in the back). I could never wear contacts because I can't stand the thought of something in my eye.

I HAVE to wear contacts (hard lens) b/c otherwise my eyes would keep getting worse and worse. : O

I started wearing contacts last year, and wear there whenever I am in public. If I am just at home, then I wear my glasses since I'm not trying to impress the people in my house.

I'm legally blind and have astigmatism and contacts have been working fine for me for the last two months (note: had glasses for at least ten years before that...). Really, if they hurt or if they fall out easily, something is wrong and you need to use different contacts. The only time one of my contacts has even fallen out is when I was crying and I wiped my eye really hard- that was sort of asking for it.

It takes a bit to get used to them, but I can't feel them at all any more. And you get used to putting them in too- or at least most people do.

I just got my color contacts in the mail! Oh they're great - they are grey, and even though my eyes are black when I put them in they are pretty bright. :) (I'm veryyy excited!)

glasses 8(
I used to be 20/20 until about a year and a half ago.
now I'm 20/50 :(

Nah! I don wear glasses!

I like glasses a lot.. but wear contacts. I play softball/tennis, and it's a pain to play with glasses, so I started out just with contacts pretty much only for sports. BUT I realized their convenience [and do NOT tell me glasses are more convenient... lol I can't even feel my contacts and don't have to think about them ALL day long for like 18 hours straight], and now wear them all the time.
But glasses are just plain old cool looking, IMO :]
BUT now my eyes are so bad [I have a -6.00 contacts thing.. uhhh yeah I can't see lol] that to get lenses made thin enough that they're not like an effin magnifying glass, they'd be like $500+, so I've.. neglected getting a new pair for like... 6 years. lol. They have a really old prescription though, so I see fuzzily with them, but only wear them RIGHT before getting in bed.

I have mild astigmatism and 20-30 vision. I can see relatively well, but when wearing most of my friend’s glasses I can see much better but everything looks a little distorted. I dont want glasses, but I’ll probably need them when I start driving (not cuz of law but because my mom will make me haha)
