Does a high SAT Subject test score offset low regular sat score

<p>well im applying to PSU main campus for mechanical engineering.
I scored 4 on AP calc AB exam, 750 Math II, and 740 on Physics. also my GPA is 3.93 weighted</p>

<p>but i scored 1540 on the regular sat.
so does my high subject test score offset the low sat score?
I am not a native english speaker, and i scored in the 400s for reading and writing. thanks</p>
