Will anyone care that you got an A+ in a class vs. an A? I mean its the same impact on your GPA so I was just wondering

It’s kind of cool to get an A+ and it will impress your friends because they are not that easy to get. For example, if you with all of your cultural sensitivity took an African American Studies class and got an A+ you would find all of your friends signing up for it the next semester. That’s what happened when I was in law school.

In business school an A+ pumped up your GPA so that was nice.

Trust me, if I ever took an African America Studies class it would be Pass/Fail.

And I guess everyone should take Physics 140 now

I’m almost positive that most law schools give an A+ a 4.3.

Well if I ever wanted to make bank and work in the patent office then sure, but I’m not seeing my ME degree going that way haha

I figured it didn’t matter at all.

i heard A+s help if you’re looking for more schooling after undergrad. In terms of jobs though, not really. I’m definitely impressed by A+'s in non-joke classes though. It’s a lot rarer and harder.

I think that the top two or so students in a class get an A+ in engineering (that’s what I’m told at least).

I really don’t think it matters that much. I’ve got one on my transcript, I’m not going to go into extra stress to get another.

^it’s definitely more than 2. More like 2%+.
Ironically I got my first A+ in fluids(conceptually the most difficult course in undergrad by concensus), but it doesnt really matter much.

Easiest class to get an A+ is stats. At the end of the day it just looks nice.
