Does an Underrepresented minority NOT invited to Visions mean rejection

<p>I am a URM (hispanic) but was not invited to visions. Can I be sure of rejection?</p>

<p>You definitely can’t be sure of rejection. There were 270 people at VISION and ~400 invited. Of these, I’d estimate that at least 150 were Hispanic, and I know for a fact that Rice admits way more Hispanics than that.</p>

<p>No. I know of many URM students on campus who did not receive an invitation to VISION.</p>

<p>I’m a current student and I wasn’t invited, so no it does not mean rejection.</p>
