Does anyone else do better on the real test than the practice tests??

<p>I remember that I took five SATI practice tests and got all scores close to about 1750.. I got pretty worried becaues this wouldn't get me to any of the schools I was looking at. Also, I gave myself extra time on each of the sections to inflate my scores... :(</p>

<p>But when I took the real thing, I got 2160... pretty weird. Maybe I think clearer on the real thing? adrenaline in the blood? an increased focus factor? i don't know</p>

<p>is anyone else like this?</p>

<p>its because books are generally harder than the test. also b/c test prep companies make their practice tests, not cb. </p>

<p>i do ok on practice but pretty good on real ones. generally 2000 on practice. got 2220 real.</p>

<p>I did better on the actual for math, MUCH worse for writing (my friend did MUCH better though), and about the same for CR.</p>

<p>o_o Lol, I wish I did better on my reals. I got 2190 on real, yet get high 2200s when I practice.</p>

<p>I do so incredibly bad on writing sections during real tests, for some peculiar reason.</p>

<p>umm, I think I tend to do about 60-80 points worse on the real thing than on practice tests, even than on barron's ones. :/</p>

<p>I do better on the real thing, too. I'm way more careful about my answers because I know it actually counts.</p>

<p>Do way better on the real thing. Not only do I take it seriously and don't rush, I check me answers. Even without that, the real thing tends to be easier every time.</p>

<p>I do better too. On practices the get around low 1500s for Math + CR and on both time i took it I got 1550+. 1560 and 1570 respectively.</p>

<p>I do a lot better. Back on the old SAT I got 1300+s on like 3 in a row. Come the actual test I get a 1520.</p>
